To thank school employees in the greater Seattle area for their continued dedication to students and families, over ten cultural organizations have joined together to create the first annual School Employee Appreciation Days, with free admission and other special offers happening this year between Dec. 26, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022.
“School employees have consistently demonstrated their extraordinary commitment to students and families during the past 20-plus months. They have done so with tenacity and positivity and have inspired so many with their dedication. This invitation is simply a small way for us to show our gratitude,” said Matt Hayes, President and CEO of The Museum of Flight.
Participating institutions include: National Nordic Museum, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Henry Art Gallery, Seattle Aquarium, Museum of History & Industry, Burke Museum, Pacific Science Center, Seattle Art Museum, Frye Art Museum, Wing Luke Museum, and The Museum of Flight. Pacific Science Center: Free admission to the limited-run exhibition HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever on Dec. 29-30 to school employees and up to six guests. National Nordic Museum: Free admission for school employees and their guests on Dec. 29-31. To receive free admission, please show your school ID or other proof of employment in education when you arrive.
