Celebrities and New York Fashionistas Shop Shoegasm for Charity!

New York, N.Y. May 28, 2009 – Last night, celebrities and New York trendsetting fashionistas attended a cocktail party at Shoegasm in order to celebrate style, up-and-coming designers, and raise money for the New York City charity, Operation Fairy Dust. In addition to supporting Operation Fairy Dust, attendees of this fashion forward event took part in the unveiling of Shoegasm’s summer collection, participated in a photo shoot and podcast taping of RocktheLook.com’s fashionista competition, and viewed the unique works of four belles & bulls haute couture designers.

Celebrity stylist Mia Morgan and OK! Magazine’s celebrity reporter Delaina Dixon kicked off the evening by hosting the RocktheLook.com podcast, where belles & bulls designers Selma Starfinger, Christopher Gandsy, Cherylyn Williams and Hasan Foster showed off their innovative designs. Luxury brand guru Jason Boldon and renowned entertainment expert Lauren Ruotolo, of Hearst Publications, were also featured, sharing their thoughts on how to achieve truly shoegasmic style.

The evening saw appearances by The Real World Brooklyn’s Devyn Simone, and Celina Carvajal of MTV’s “The Search for Elle Woods”. In addition to celebrity guests, fashion industry pros such as Yuli Ziv, founder of MyItThings.com, and Celebrity Catwalk creator Jennifer Bartok explored Shoegasm’s newest collection, showing their support for Operation Fairy Dust. At the end of the night, one lucky guest won a stunning turquoise necklace, hand crafted by belles & bulls designer Kei Gee.
