Gladstone Jewellery Wins Best Newcomer Award
Published October 6th, 2008
London-based luxury jewellery brand, Gladstone Jewellery has this month been honoured with the Best Newcomer award at the annual International Jewellery London exhibition, held at Earl’s Court.
Every year IJL presents awards to the exhibitors who make the biggest impact at the show. Judging by members of the Advisory Board, took place after the exhibition, which was held from 31st August to the 3rd September.
Syreeta Tranfield, Event Marketing Manager for IJL said, “The best newcomer award recognises a first time exhibitor with an exceptional product, company philosophy and the creative representation of their company ethos and work via their stand and supporting activity at IJL.”
She added, “Gladstone Jewellery stood out to the judges with a unique product design, a fully integrated marketing campaign and clear philosophy and a great stand design together with sponsorship of the bar - the whole approach was to make an impact and I think that objective was successfully achieved.”
The brand creates each piece with 18ct yellow and white gold and maintains the highest standards by using only fully precious stones (diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and rubies) in its designs.
The award was presented to senior members of the Gladstone Jewellery team by the Advisory Board Judges.
Company director, Maria Kunin said, “We feel very flattered with our award, it’s nice to be recognised and it was a pleasant surprise. The show has been a great experience and we feel like we have done a great job. I’m very happy we are involved.”
The luxurious exhibition bar was also sponsored by Gladstone Jewellery and was specifically designed to mirror the brand’s unique lace-like designs. The event attracted thousands of retail buyers, journalists and jewellery enthusiasts from across the globe.
Other award winners included Tivon Fine Jewellery, leading purveyors of jewellery set with semi precious stones, who took home the Gem Empathy award.
