Bradford-Scott Receives Kudos from Disaster Stricken Credit Union
Published October 3rd, 2008
Bradford-Scott Data, currently supporting more than 160 credit unions in 15 states, announced that it recently and successfully relocated Louisville Police Metro Police Officers Credit Union in accordance with its Disaster Recovery Policy. The credit union lost power due to the flooding when remnants of Hurricane Ike passed through the area. More than a half-million Kentucky homes and businesses lost power at the height of the storm.
Gale Stivers, CEO of Louisville Police Metro Police Officers CU in Louisville, Kentucky commented, “Having never been through a situation like this, I did not know what to expect. I can’t say enough about Bradford-Scott. They showed up at my credit union just a few hours after I reported the disaster. What was really amazing is that when I called them a week later to move back after power was restored, they repeated the entire process again the same day. I would highly recommend Bradford-Scott’s disaster plan.”
“We are fortunate to have our own team of hardware technicians on staff, which allowed us to react quickly to this disaster. Gale contacted us at 10:30am to let us know the credit union had lost power and did not expect it to be restored for several days. Our techs packed up their equipment, made the trip from Indianapolis to Louisville, and were onsite within 4 hours. They had the credit union up and running at their temporary location before 5:00pm on the same day”, commented Kevin Kolar, Vice-President at Bradford-Scott.
