RENEW International Raises Money For Catholic Parishes Around the US

RENEW International invites golfers and their guests to its 16th Annual Golf Classic, to be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the magnificent Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ. This year, proceeds will benefit RENEW International’s work in U.S. parishes in need.
This year’s Annual Golf Classic held by RENEW International will be at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ on September 18, 2008. The day will be devoted to raising money for US Catholic Parishes in need. There will be live and silent charity auctions, prizes, gifts, food and of course, golf.
Eighteen-hole golfers will enjoy the splendid views and challenging play at this desirable private golf venue. The golf outing will once again offer a special program for women who want the option of a professionally-taught golf clinic, and nine-hole tournament. All golfers can participate in putting and beat-the-pro contests. Non-golfers can join the fun too at the dinner reception. All guests will be treated to an exquisite cocktail hour and a delicious buffet dinner. Silent and Live auctions will provide excitement and rewarding prizes for participants. Guests may bid for opportunities to golf at the exclusive Trump National Golf Club in Westchester or the prestigious Old Head of Kinsale in Ireland. Other desirable prizes include vacation packages, luxurious hotel stays, sports equipment, show tickets in New York, and much more.
Participants will also have the opportunity to take chances to win three wonderful raffle prizes. The First Prize winner will enjoy a World Disney World Trip for four, with travel and accommodations included. The Second Prize winner will have a 32-inch Sharp AQUOS 1080 HDTV shipped to his or her home. For the Third Prize, a Canon 10-MP digital camera is awarded.
This year, proceeds will benefit RENEW International’s work in U.S. parishes in need. RENEW International works with Catholic parishes to help them become vibrant praying, welcoming, and serving communities. Currently, more than one-third of RENEW parishes, rural and urban, lack the funds to absorb even the basic costs of a RENEW International pastoral program. By participating in this year’s Golf Classic, participants will support RENEW’s mission of sharing the Word of God with all, especially those in need.
