Pompano Beach, FL – Valley Forge Fabrics, a decorative textile company for the hospitality industry, was recently featured in the South Florida Business Journal for its eco-friendly business and production tactics. The weekly journal provides the latest breaking business news in South Florida, resources, events, careers and marketplace.

The article titled “Hotel fabrics company pioneers plastics reclamation program” explains how the textile company is leaning toward a greener business plan. South Florida Business Journal staff writer, Paul Brinkmann, said that the company is helping to lead a national transition to more environmentally friendly hotels with a new product line made completely from recycled plastic bottles.

“Valley Forge Fabrics has been a fabric supplier to major national hospitality brands like Starwood, Marriott and Disney, mostly with high-quality durable polyester for drapes, upholstery and bed spreads,” wrote Brinkmann.

The company made a new commitment to achieve 100 percent post-consumer content. The new FRESH collection, which is made of fabrics that will redefine environmental standards for the hospitality industry, is made of recycled and recyclable textiles. The fabrics made from synthetic yarns are derived from post-industrial and post-consumer recycled products.
