Quotes4Charity CIC continues to show promising development with the announcement of their first strategic fundraising partnership with a national charity, Contact A Family.
Working with over 275,000 families each year providing support, information and advice to the parents of all disabled children, the charity signed up to the innovative social business after receiving their first donation of £236.81, when former volunteer Jo Jones re-mortgaged through Quotes4Charity CIC.
Jo, who volunteered for 4½ years at CAF as a HR Consultant said ‘you get a good brokerage service that’s free to use, plus the feel good factor of giving to charity, Brilliant! I’d definitely recommend them to friends, its lovely to be able to donate like this’
Jon Anscombe, Head of Fundraising at Contact A Family said “We are pleased to be benefiting from this new income stream. Using Quotes4Charity for mortgage advice has the potential for people to generate valuable donations, which will help in our work to provide information and support for families with disabled children across the UK. We hope the project goes from strength to strength’
Geraldine Mulkerrin, Fundraising Consultant at Quotes4Charity CIC said ‘We’re delighted Contact A Family have got involved. With such a strong supporter base we’re confident of making a real difference, and it’s a fantastic boost to our own fundraising objectives.
