Amnesty International USA to Host Leaders of Pakistan Lawyer’s Movement for Panel Discussion

WASHINGTON – Two leaders of the Pakistan Lawyer’s Movement will join Amnesty International USA for a panel discussion on the current human rights situation in Pakistan.

Muneer Malik and Aitzaz Ahsan, both former political prisoners, will examine the latest developments in the country and discuss steps taken to reinstate the Chief Justice and other Justices who were removed from office by President Pervez Musharraf. The event is free and open to the public.
