WebFusion is one of the first UK web hosts to go live with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 web hosting.
WebFusion is offering Microsoft Windows Server 2008 on two packages, Fusion Business and Fusion Developer, combining performance enhancements from Microsoft with WebFusion’s reliability, 24×7 UK support and UK data centres.
Launched by Microsoft last week, Windows Server 2008 marks a step change in web hosting with enhanced management, security and reliability. Microsoft Windows Server 2008, running on WebFusion servers, responds to customers’ needs that extend beyond basic website hosting and POP email.
The new packages running Microsoft Windows Server 2008 on WebFusion’s world-class platform include the benefits of IIS7 (Internet Information Services), ASP.NET 3.5, PHP 5, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, shared SSL certificates and virus protection for all mail.

Starting at ÂŁ16.95 per month, Fusion Business on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 includes 6GB of disk space, 60GB of traffic per month, two Microsoft SQL databases and 1,000 POP email accounts. Fusion Developer costs ÂŁ19.95 per month and offers 12GB of disk space, 100GB of traffic per month, three Microsoft SQL databases and 1,500 POP email accounts. All annual accounts currently get two months free hosting.
