Brazilian Spring Party Preview to Playboy Mansion Extravaganza

SAN DIEGO - If you always wanted to see what went on at their Playboy Mansion party, now you can.
Partying For A Purpose, most notable for their annual Playboy Mansion fundraiser benefiting San Diego’s less fortunate children, presents a sampler event at the La Jolla home of host Jonathan Shiff. The “Brazilian Spring Party” begins promptly at 7:30 on Saturday, March 29, 2008 and includes a silent auction with over $100,000 of unique items from supporters, including Planet Frame.
The fundraiser benefits the It’s All About the Kids Foundation and is hosted by Jonathan Shiff, Chris and Tonya Heermans, It’s All About the Kids Founders Shawn Heyl and Angela Brannon, Board President Dan Fumai and Board Members Myles Hubers and Weston Twomey. Guests will enjoy hosted cocktails and wines of Icon Estates to compliment San Diego’s most celebrated restaurants. Supporters include Bamboo La Jolla, Sushi on a Roll, Quarter Kitchen, and Oceanaire Seafood Room with Chef Brian Malarkey voted the 2007 San Diego Chef of the Year and star of Bravo’s Top Chef. Exquisite deserts provided by Pierre’s Place.
Live Entertainment throughout the event includes percussionist Michael Van Keith, Brazilian dancers, stilt walkers, and a body-painted beauty from Foxxy Roxxy Makeup Artistry.
Angela Brannon, Co Founder & Executive Director of It’s All About the Kids explained, “Our guests expect unique events from us, and our Playboy Mansion fundraiser is infamous. Our La Jolla party is just a taste — a great taste — of what you can expect at our 5th Annual Fundraiser.” Seats and Tables for the June 28 Brazilian Carnival Party at the Playboy Mansion will be on sale at this event. The highlight of the evening is a Fashion Show produced by KUSI’s “Style Guy” Leonard Simpson of Fashion Forward which will feature designer fashions from Mister B’s Mens and Donna Marsh. Hair design by Joseph Anthony of Hair Lab and make up by Face Factory support the show. Expect a special vocal performance by Daniel Feldman. Phoebe Chongchua will host the show.
