CIM Program Will Hold Auction At World Of Concrete

Published January 14th, 2008

The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program — a business-intensive program that earns students a four-year bachelor’s degree in concrete industry management — will host its annual auction during the World of Concrete show at noon, Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall, room N262.

Last year’s auction raised approximately $500,000 for the program. This year’s event will include both live and silent auctions. The money they raise will benefit the CIM national steering committee and support CIM programs at Middle Tennessee State University, Arizona State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and California State University — Chico. It will also help expand the program.

CIM’s goal is to produce broadly educated graduates who are grounded in basic construction management, knowledgeable about concrete technology and techniques, able to manage people and systems, and able to promote products or services related to the concrete industry.
