For the second consecutive year Bloomsbury Auctions will be sponsoring the Collector’s Lounge at the London Art Fair which takes place at the Business Design Centre in Islington from 16-20th January.

On show will be an exhibition of postcard sculptures by Gilbert & George from the 1970s; an opportunity to view a group of these celebrated artists’ important early works, all from a private collection. Presenting museum-quality Modern British and Contemporary Art, the Fair brings together one hundred leading UK-based galleries showing work from the last 100 years. It encompasses over 1000 artists - key Modern British figures such as Ben Nicholson, William Scott, Terry Frost, Elizabeth Frink, Kenneth Armitage, Patrick Heron, Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, David Bomberg - with Contemporary work from Keith Coventry, Howard Hodgkin, Melanie Comber, Gavin Turk, Peter Doig and Paula Rego.
