Ochoco Valley Ranch and Superior Livestock Auction To Host Largest Trophy Bull Elk Auction in History

The largest bull elk auction in history, offering more than 100 majestic trophy bull elk, will be conducted Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. PST. This international event will be hosted by the Ochoco Valley Ranch, broadcast live on RFD-TV, and held via Superior Livestock Auction’s web site (SuperiorLivestock.com).
“Never before has this number, and caliber, of trophy bull elk been offered to the general public at auction sale,” said Mark Rubbert, co-owner of Ochoco Valley Ranch, a 9,000-acre elk ranch in Central Oregon. “We’re selling Roosevelt Elk with scores as high as 440 SCI and Rocky Mountain Elk with scores approaching 500 SCI. This sale provides elk breeders, as well as lodge owners, elk hunting groups and individual sportsmen, a fantastic opportunity to acquire an elk in his prime, and the trophy of a lifetime.”
