Al Waseet Newspaper, the leading publication in Jordan in classified ads, has held its first conference “A Step Forward” in Aqaba city to discuss the strategy for 2008. The conference was attended by the newspaper’s branch managers in Amman and Aqaba.

The conference focused on explaining the newspaper’s workflow, activities, and performance in addition to highlighting its financial results and expansion plans. “Our meeting today has helped in setting a clear date for the inauguration of Al Waseet Irbid, another step forward for us. We also managed to discuss the distribution process of Al Waseet in the Kingdom as well as deliberate new designs for the publication,” Al Waseet General Manager Majed Elayyan said.

The conference presents the second phase for Al Waseet newspaper as it strives to reach and strengthen its relations with new segments of readers and advertisers. It also reflects the newspaper’s commitment towards the development of classified ads not only locally but also regionally.
