EQUIBREED Corporation (equibreed.com) today launched their new online sales and research portal aimed at bringing together buyers and sellers of Thoroughbred horses. The web site will be delivered in three phases with the first phase launching today. The primary target of the web site is to consolidate several online and “bricks and mortar” services that currently make the sale of broodmares, yearlings, and stallion seasons a very difficult process for Thoroughbred breeders and buyers.

Currently, a buyer has to go to the traditional auction facility to have any assurance that the horse has undergone inspection, or the seller has provided health certificates for the horse. No site today provides health warranties on the horses listed, nor offer a return procedure like the typical bricks and mortar auction facilities do within so many hours of the auction close. Equibreed was developed by a renowned technology development company (www.clarium.com) because their CEO owns and manages several Thoroughbreds in the State of Kentucky.
